- 1994 - Tracy Barlow takes the news of mum Deirdre's engagement to Samir Rachid badly. Deirdre's ex-husband Ken also hears the news. Curly Watts quits his job at the Betting Shop after only a few days.
- 1998 - Tony Horrocks is beaten up by drug dealers in No.6. Des Barnes arrives home and confronts the thugs but he is also attacked.
- 2007 - Violet Wilson and Jamie Baldwin break the news to Sean Tully that they plan to raise Sean and Violet's baby together.
- 2009 - Tony Gordon is arrested by the police for threatening to kill Roy and Hayley Cropper. He is also questioned about his involvement in the murder of Liam Connor, although he denies both allegations and is released. He tells his fiancée Maria Connor about what happened but she becomes distraught as she wonders if he's lying. Tony confronts Roy by the canal and pushes him into the water.
